Farever Feedback

First of all, I want to thank the devs for the great patch it already fixed a lot of issues I experienced in the game.

I’ve been enjoying Farever a lot, but there are still a few QoL improvements that I think would make the game feel much smoother long term:

  • Weapon Upgrade Station: Please let us use materials directly from the bank, just like crafting already does. Constantly moving materials back and forth is unnecessary inventory management.
  • Obelisk Travel: Traveling from obelisk to obelisk across the map already takes a long time, and it’ll only get worse as the world gets bigger. Please let us skip the flying animation entirely and fast travel instantly. It would also be great if respawn points could be used as fast travel locations too.
  • Better Search Functions: The search bars could be much more advanced and useful. For example:
    • Searching enchants by gear type
    • Searching monsters by the material they drop
    • Better filtering overall for items/materials
  • Secret Orbs: These should really be account-wide instead of character-specific. Collecting them once is already a big time investment, and repeating it on every new character doesn’t add much value. If the goal is still to help new players discover them naturally, maybe add a setting that shows “ghost” versions of already collected orbs.
  • Professions & Crafting Recipes: Profession levels and unlocked recipes should also be account-wide. Since players can already swap characters, craft items, and trade materials anyway, the current system mostly just creates extra tedious steps. Keeping track of which character has which scrolls/recipes becomes annoying very quickly.
