Hi everyone, I’m asking about quality, reasonably affordable clothing stores and brands in Riyadh, pretty disappointed that the only options are Zara and H&M, Uniqlo and Muji don’t have branches in GCC.
Went outside the airport hall to the parking lot, lighted a cigarette, that moment a police officer came up to me saying that I have to pay a fine.
Not knowing that smoking is prohibited in public, I told him to give me a second chance, as put out the cigarette with my hand.
Things escalated as he was trying to detain other passengers that came to have a smoke as well, that’s when I gave him the slip, later my taxi driver told me that it not illegal to smoke far from other people, that’s the police officer was trying to take advantage of me.
Outside that officer, people have been nice so far.
