Is this odd behavior from my teacher?

I'm new to this school and it's much larger than the school I've been to my while life (from a tiny town (milexmile), recently moved to a larger city that most people apparently still consider small) and there's a teacher I really enjoy, he seemed nice with just some weird in him but since I heard from a friend that he has some allegations, but due to funding the school can't afford to do anything ig, I've been wary of him a bit.

I first met him on my tour of the school and he asked me if I'd help volunteer. I love volunteering and specifically with what he was asking me to help with, so I happily said yes and there I went a few days later.

I use Life 360 and those who use it know how janky it can be especially with power saving on (I left it on one so now I can't turn it off without it dying very fast) so my mom called a few times and I finally gave in and got permission to step away and call her back, turns out she was worried since the app said I was driving/ in a car, I reassured her it was just the app screwing up per usual and got back to work, he asked what was up and I explained the situation, here's how the end of that conversation went:

Him: "Oh that's weird"

Me: "Yeah"

Him: "...I find it weirder than your parent has atracker on you"

Me: "Really?" (I personally like having it and was the one to bring the app to my parents' attention (I like knowing where they are so I can use it Avandia them if they take for freaking ever to get home) )

Him: "Totally"

I was a bit confused because I thought he, as a parent, would be all for tracking your kid and knowing where they are, but I let it go.

I actually joined the school the next Monday and got a few friends, one I told one of them that he's one of my teachers, she said I should try and transfer from the class (I got that comment like 3 times in my first week there) and informed me of something that happened with another one of her friends.

My very first day, he tells the class to be nice since it can be hard to be a new student, risky chill, love the energy, then this comes out of his mouth when we talk at the end of class:

"If anyone is mean to you, I'll fucking kill them. Oops did I say that out loud?"

(Rq I just giggled so hard, I do the swipe to type thing and when I did "talk" in that last bit it autospelled "yoai")

I was a little stunned because in what world do you say that to a student??

Anyway I let life go on, joined the club he runs (that's what I volunteered in and I really liked the other students in it and the whole thing with the club, totally my kind of thing) and went to another thing with them and got ICE CREAMMMM!! It was kinda melted since it wasn't being kept cold sadly. Im getting off track, my bad.

While I'm having my ice cream, I'm finishing it and getting the remnants off the stick cuz I'm a big back and I look up from staring mindlessly at the table and see him a little bit away just looking at me, that's when it hits me that I'm basically deepthroating the stick just for crumbs of chocolate so I finish up and throat my trash away. Soon after, he comes up and asks if I'm having fun and that he's glad I came.

I had to leave just a little after that cause I realized my mom was there to pick me up.

Recently, regarding the club (ig I should tell what the club is, its farm club), I talked my mom into letting me help out and take the cockroaches home for the summer, in the middle of class, he's taking attendance and calls a few students deadbeats (jokingly because they just before got notes that they have overdue books) meanwhile he gets to me and calls me his saint, I'm confused because I'm very forgetful and didn't realize how important taking home roaches were so Im like "huh?" And he reminds me so then Im like "oh its whatever"

Thats all I can think of, also, I've only been in this school for almost a month. Is this weird? Is this normal in larger schools? The teachers at my old school were close to students, but always kept it far behind a line, my other teachers aren't acting weird except my music teacher but thats not towards me (he said the n word and we had a discussion for 30 minutes over it, then today he got a bit off track because of Usher and started talking about like how modern p0rn came to be)

Anyway, I'd love opinions. I'm going to keep wary as I do most adults nowadays, I'll make sure I'm safe anyway but I want to know if I'm being too strict or not.

EDIT: to clarify, I have informed my mom about some of it and about the allegations (I didn't tell her exactly what they were since when I told her I couldn't remember what they were) I also plan on being in the club next year, but after my next year, I'm going back to my hometown for my senior year.

EDIT: can someone tell me why people are sharing this post? Im a bit paranoid.
