Opponent attacks my facedown Morphing Jar and I have Waboku, Jar of Greed, Chain Strike set.

Morphing Jar gets flipped up from the attack and activates its effect. Can I chain Waboku to its effect in order to keep the chain going for Jar of Greed and then Chain Strike?

Or is Waboku not able to be chained to Morphing Jar's effect after it's been attacked and we're still in Damage Step?
