So last night I’m finishing up some ARCA on iRacing and decide that I want to check out Dirt 2.0, but I don’t have a handbrake. So I go check and see what kind of handbrakes Micro Center has that I could pick up the next day, since it’s not a WFH day, and my office is like ten minutes from one.
I come to find they have one brand new Simagic Alpha, the original base I wanted prior to my current CSL DD, on sale for 384. My jaw nearly dropped, I immediately knew I had to grab it. Looking forward to this huge upgrade and moving away from the Fanatec ecosystem (although I think I will be keeping my Clubsport shifter, already have the usb adaptor on the way).
Moral of the story, if ya got a Micro Center around, it pays to just randomly check what they have.
