The problem is Vini would never look for the pass there. He’d slow the entire play down trying to take on his defender, attempt some flashy dribble, and then blast a shot straight at the keeper or into the stands.
And even if he did decide to pass, Mbappé would probably be standing outside the box waiting for a cutback instead of actually making a striker’s run into the area like a proper number 9.
That PSG goal was literally everything Madrid’s attack hasn’t been: quick decision making, movement, chemistry, and players understanding space.
I genuinely can’t handle another season of this man.
