Hello!

I've just finished my first 5k which means next step is my first 10k!

I'm slowly increasing distance, to make sure I prevent any risk of injuries.

Currently I am using a pair of Nike Structure 24, which I bought many years ago but never used.

I do want to be able to run marathons, and likely I'll attempt cycling and swimming as well, but that's for the future - point is, I want to build some great endurance and in the future some more speed.

I bought my Nike shoes back when I knew absolutely nothing, and I just needed some shoes I could run occasionally in. And I've heard that a lot of running shoes have issues with a too tight shoe box, front tilt and heel drop - I know these help short term, but can risk causing injury with time. These injuries might not be an issue, as long as I take proper care, but I'll still love to keep it in mind:) But you are all more than welcome to recommend me something, which have one of those "problems"

I've considered barefoot shoes, but I also would like to have a set of shoes which will support me on my longer runs. So I'd love recommendations for both.

I mostly run on pavement, and rarely in parks. And will be using the shoes primarily for training. I don't really experience any issues while running, if anything my calves get quite tired, but I expect that to better with time:)

In case it helps, I am 180cm and weigh around 80kgs - I am currently at my heaviest weight, and will be droppings a few kgs soon.

Thank you so much in advance! ✨
