So i am shortlisted for the studio test of mit id but now my parents want me to reconsider my options. I am not blaming them but i worked really hard for both nid and mit. Now they are saying that even if i would have got in nid they probably would not have been able to support me for admission, mit id has similar tution fees to nid ahemdabad but now that my parents arent supporting me what options do i have? its not like they don’t want me going there its that we cant afford it so i would have to take an education loan even if i go to a college which is 10 lakhs for the whole program. So guys is it worth taking an education loan for mit id? not considering the hostels as i will get a room somewhere and that much we can afford but is that heavy of a fees worth taking a loan for? i dont want to earn 50 thousand when i get a job and give like 40 thousand of it as repayment to the bank. are there any cheaper options for me now? what are the starting salaries of a designer from mit id? i am considering animation and vfx or ui/ux.
