I’ve been struggling with liking any of the clothing I’ve made during and after going to fashion school. I feel like I have this high expectation of quality now and my actual sewing ability doesn’t match up. I literally hate everything I made in school except my final project for the Draping class.
I saw this really fancy dress online that I can’t get out of my head but I’m resistant to making it because all I can think about is that I’m going to end up hating it because it won’t look nearly like the reference image I’m using.
I kind of feel like going to school made me hate my own sewing and I want to get that love back but I don’t know how.
