I’m on mdi and have excellent control, but it’s a lot of work. I decided to try Omnipod 5, thinking I’d get used to the pump, and then switch to looping.

I didn’t realize you can only loop with dash, so now I’m second-guessing whether I should start with Omnipod 5 or go directly to dash/loop. The idea of setting up loop is overwhelming to me, so it’s not an easy decision.

I’m seeing all these posts of people absolutely hating omnipod 5.

Does anyone like Omnipod 5!? If so, I’d love to hear how long it took to get it dialed in. Also, please share TIR and A1c, if you’re comfortable doing so.
