So a month ago, I released my mobile game Zombie Runner on Google play, and things been reallyyyy ROUGH.

I get about 600 visitors a month and only a few people downloaded my game (currently 90 downloads).

I have been seeing a lot of people on reddit saying mobile games aren't profitable anymore and they are really tough to scale since they are dominated by big cooperations with huge marketing budgets.

However, people have been saying that Steam games are way better than mobile games when it comes to finding a market for them.

So is it True, or are people just saying BS

When i was first creating my game Zombie Runner, i wanted to create a female character that would be special and unlike any other game. HOWEVER, i did not expect her to be like this.

I will be honest, i used AI to create the design for her, i am GUILTY.

however i tried to make her less thick. It did not work, all my friends who play the game, choose her everytime they play, and refuse to play with any other character.

ALSOO, when i post content on YouTube, the only content that gets me views, is content that INVOLVES HERRRRR.

so should i remove her from the game or keep her to gain more downloads??

4 months ago, i decided that i will do something i have ABSOLUTLY no experience in, and i went ALL IN.

the reason i started building this app was because i tried EVERY SINGLE SIDE HUSTLE POSSIBLE. Dropshipping, trading, affiliate marketing, opened an Etsy shop, sold physical products, Youtube channels, started a design agency, freelanced, etc. NOTHING WORKED OUT.

The one thing i realized no one really talks about, is app development, no fast money bs, not a lot of people talked about it online, had no hype. I knew immediately that no one talked about it because it wasn’t something to make fast money from.

So i designed characters, learned how to code, and built the entire game from scratch, all ON MY OWN.

and to be honest, my app does not have a lot of downloads, and i don’t make much from it.. YET.

But this is a sign that it actually works, for the first time in a longgggg time, i am seeing results.

DONT GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS, even if the results are small, THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE.

and i believe in Zombie Runner.
