[Serious, please read] Misandry is in fact a very real issue

This is not meant to say all feminists are misandrists, gender equality is incompatible with Misandry, but a lot of misandry goes unnoticed or gets laughed off. Yes it is not as prevalent as misogyny but a lot of people just say "misogyny is worse" writing off the issue as a whole. Here are some statistics on misandry around the world:

- Men will on average receive 33% longer sentences than women in France, 63% in the US, and 88% in England and Wales.

- Men are subjected to an unequal draft in all but 4 countries, and 63 countries currently have a mandatory male only draft currently active.

- 1 in 6 men will experience sexual abuse in their lifetime in the US

- 62 countries do not recognize men as being rape victims according to their laws

Some notable cases of misandry or bias treatment:

- 4 airline companies have previously had policies where men cannot be sat next to unaccompanied minors. Not adults, Men. A female passenger unrelated to two minors was asked to replace a 33 year old male firefighter sitting next to the minors and the flight attendant outright told the 33 year old man "You can't sit next to two minors". This policy would've been fine if it was for both genders, but this male only policy implies that only men can be child sex offenders, a disproven misandrist myth.

- A 27 year old South Korean woman drugged and raped an Australian boy, posted about it on misandrist website WOMAD, then was arrested. She was actively selling CP videos she had made of the incident and was defended by users of the website. She was deported and faced no legal prosecution for her crime despite being charged over the production of CP

- Ukraine has not drafted women during the entire duration of the war, drafting only men and have let women leave the country despite women serving in the Ukrainian military.

This post is just the tip of the iceberg but I wanted to bring awareness to misandry. I hope this post was informative but please recognize that yes this is a serious issue. Thank you.
