So I need some help… This is my second kamikaze and it is not going as well as the first. My console is not booting. I bought the sharper grinding tip for this and was very careful but may have messed up. At some point I accidentally touched the resistor with the grinding pen but it seemed like nothing happened since it was so fast and I can’t see any damage, but I could be wrong.
Some readings:
-Diode mode to DAT0 (black on ground) reads 1000-1200
-Resistance to DAT0 reads 678 and 300 (depending on which side the probes are on the resistor.
-Resistance with black on ground and red on the right of resistor reads 300 as well.
Based off the pictures and readings is it safe to say I probably fucked the resistor with one quick touch? Should I be taking it off to measure it? I don’t want to remove it unless it’s more than likely to be the culprit.
edit bc thread super long: was severed dat0 and managed to fix it using a strand from copper wick as thin wire. thank you to everyone who helped:)
