Hoping to get some ideas on the following. My Launch day (almost 3 year old) GKtwo no longer prints successfully in the centre of the build plate.
I will get the initial base layers, and then the supports totally fail to adhere. Oddly, I don’t even feel scarring on the printed base layers. As it spreads out, I get some supports failures, and it eventually comes good the further you go from the centre.
I have done the following troubleshooting:
- fresh fep sheet (possibly not tight enough?)
- fresh resin
- Confirmed plate is level and secure
- Reset slicer and resin settings (exposure tests redone, and are good at 1.6-1.8 seconds at 30um)
- lift height increased, print delay increased, same results
-lift speeds defaulted, and tested at marginally faster/slower with same results
- Done screen tests (paper plate over screen, run whole screen exposure, all looks good)
I’m not sure what else to test, and replacement parts are hard to get in Oz/expensive vs putting money towards an updated printer. Any ideas would be appreciated.
(note that the image is after being left a few days before I cleaned the plate, which is why the drops have pigment separation. My resin is typically well mixed before printing.)
