So I (22M) have been dating my GF (19f) for about 5-6 months now having started back in december. This is long distance as I am in the UK, and She is in the US with her graduating soon, and me going to University.
The issue that is currently ongoing is that today, her mother said she has to make money within 5 days along with her siblings or else shes gonna >!kill herself. !<In which my GF also said that if this does happen, shes gonna >!kill herself!< too.
As it stands, no money requirement has been set besides it needing to be "a lot of money". but we both genuinely have no clue on what to do.
I've personally recommended her that she should:
- Call 911
- Go to her sisters place
- Get a job to make the money
The only issue with these is the following:
- She fears the younger brother wont go to a good family because the state they live in is pretty racist
- She doesnt want to abandon her dog as they dont allow pets at the house/apartment and alongside this doesnt want to leave her mother behind
- In todays world, Getting a job within a week is nothing short of a miracle

Just to clarify, The mother is bipolar and has been told she needs therapy but refuses it. Alongside this, from personal experience hearing over a microphone, She complains a lot and shouts a lot.
