I just cleared the Claude Certified Architect – Foundations (CCA-F) exam and wanted to

share a quick breakdown for anyone planning to take it soon.

This exam is definitely not your typical "memory test." It’s heavily focused on scenario-based

questions—specifically how you apply Claude in real-world environments while maintaining

safety and efficiency.

My Passing Result:

● Status: Passed

● Score: 880/1000 (Pass mark was 700)

● Time taken: 75 minutes

What helped me clear it:

  1. Practical Understanding: Don't just read the docs. Experiment with prompt chaining

and safety filters. The exam tests your logic, not just your ability to recall facts.

  1. The "Why" over "What": When doing practice questions, focus on why a specific

prompt is better than another.

  1. Updated Practice Material: Since AI patterns change fast, I used Pass4surexams.

Their updated dumps/practice sets were spot on for the newer question formats and

really gave me a feel for the actual exam environment.

  1. Video Walkthroughs: Supplemented my reading with YouTube videos on AI safety

and prompt engineering to visualize the concepts.

Advice for candidates: Take your time with the scenario questions. They can be tricky, but

if you understand the core principles of how Claude processes information, you'll be fine.
