I got my iPhone 13 Pro Max water damaged at the beach and had to replace the screen with a cheap one since that was the only option available at the time. It works, but it’s pretty laggy. I’ve since upgraded to a newer phone.

Now I’m thinking of either selling the 13 Pro Max and getting a regular iPhone 13/14 for my mom (she mainly uses it for calls and WhatsApp), or just replacing the screen with a better one and swapping the battery on the 13 Pro Max.

What would you suggest is the better option?
