I’m making water bottles (50!) with fairly delicate permanent vinyl lettering and struggling with two things:

Weeding tiny text without lifting letters

Getting the vinyl to reliably release onto transfer tape

I’m using Oracal 651, Oracle transfer tape and have tried Cricut transfer tape without much success. Also the vinyl is glossy not matte.

For people who regularly do fine detail vinyl:

What vinyl and transfer tape do you swear by?

Do you use reverse weeding?

What pressure/pass settings work best?

Any tricks that made a huge difference?

Bonus if you make tumblers/water bottles specifically.
