I have a job interview tomorrow, but I left my current job off my resume since I’ve only been here a couple months

As the title says, I have a job interview tomorrow but the job I’m currently at is not on my resume. I’ve only been here 2 months this week and was advised to leave it off my resume in case it’s seen as a red flag for leaving so soon.

This job is really not that good, mismanaged, bad communication all around. I’ve been applying for a couple of weeks and got my first interview. My problem is, what do I say when/if they ask if I’m currently working? On my resume my last job ended in March, but in reality I’ve been working at this job ever since then. And if I do get the job, will this job show up on a background check and possibly get my offer letter revoked for lying by omission?

Any advice is appreciated!

Edit: Thanks so much for the fast advice everyone! I’ve been stressing about this so much 😭 if asked I’ll be honest, lying wouldn’t sit well with me and could cause problems further down the line.

Also,,, this job is in the same building as the job I’m currently at so I think it would be best to be transparent in this case lol
