I went to a concert in a different town than I live in a few weeks ago. My friend of many years (platonic now, dating about 10 yrs ago) lives there and went with me to the concert. I flew there and rented a hotel room. We are both total fans of the group.

In the past couple of years he has flown in to my town for pro football games and shows so it was nice for me to give him a break on expenses and he said he would plan some places to go before and after the concert. I really looked forward to it. I've never been to that city.

We had a nice lunch after he picked me up from the airport (nice of him). Separate checks. mentioning as I didn't want to owe him anything. But then he decided I had to have these videos he has on his phone (I could care less) and we sat at the AT&T phone store for like an hour cause he was hell bent on me having them. They couldn't help anyway. I didn't make a fuss but I was beyond bored. Then he wanted to drive around after I ckd in to the hotel. His car is a junker, no AC, no radio, ripped up, dried up seats with no covers, and it was like 90 degrees that day. Yeah that's when I started getting really annoyed. I regret not speaking up and saying hey I'm hot and thirsty. Time for happy hour. Stop the car now. Guess it's on me.

Would it occur to you if your car is a total pos your rider will get uncomfortable and you would want to get them at least water? So he's rude and thoughtless as far as I'm concerned.

The topping on the cake with a cherry on top is him repeatedly pushing me at one point on the shirt line. I asked him why are you pushing me, expecting an apology. But be doubled down saying I let someone get ahead. I told him I have a problem with this. 2nd chance for an apology. HE'S CLUELESS!! I am so mad at myself for not raising hell with him. Now I never want to see him again.

What would you guys have done? I never have to ever have contact with him again so at least there's that so I've decided to ghost him.
