Does daily texting for a month signal actual interest if we've only had 1 date
I’ve been talking to a guy for almost a month now. We have texted daily since the day we matched, intensity and duration varies. Mostly initiated by him, sometimes me, sometimes he dropped off the convo but picks it up again the next day.
We had a positive first date about 1+ week in (hand-holding, good vibes, over 2hrs) but our next date isn't for another 1+week. In between he was out of town for work for a week or so.
I’m struggling with the fact that it’ll be almost a month between Date 1 and Date 2, and why didn't he initiate sooner? Is the daily texting a sign of a "slow burn" and genuine interest, or am I just being kept as a pen pal/"textuationship"?
Does daily texting usually mean more, or is it just "easy" for some guys? Also what about the hand holding on date 1? I don't even consider us 'dating' at this point tbh.
