Shitty neighbor mutilated my yard out of pettiness
My neighbors have always had a trashy lawn completely riddled with crab grass, dandelions, etc. and it all obviously blows into my yard, which over time has caused it to be taken over by dandelions so I’ve made it my project this year to try and fix my yard.They hadn’t mowed their lawn yet this year, so two weeks ago I knocked on their door to ask if I could do it for free in hopes that it would at least get rid of the dandelions before the seeds caused a total invasion. they didn’t answer so I left a note asking if I could mow their lawn for free, and signed it as the next door neighbor. Today I come out and see that they’ve put their mower on the shortest setting, and cut a huge divet into our lawn. The grass here is now 1/2” long, and it’s all completely sunfried and dying. You’re not supposed to cut more than 1/3 at a time and they’ve cut off 80% of the length. I’ve been putting hours of work into trying to fix my yard and I am so frustrated because half of it is now gonna be dirt😭 they won’t answer their door but I’m livid. Red line is the property line. They cut 17 feet into my yard, 20 feet wide. I know this isn’t as bad as a lot of the shit everyone else is posting about but I needed to vent because I have only ever been kind towards them and I have no idea why they decided to destroy my lawn
