Hey all,
I am looking to upgrade my GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB. I’ve been playing crimson desert and it is struggling no matter how much I tinker the settings. And I refuse to play on low settings with such a beautiful game. I built my rig back in 2020 and it’s definitely time to start upgrading. I’ve done some stuff to it here and there but have lacked on the GPU. I don’t necessarily think I need the newest and greatest. But a nice little bump would be nice. Also not trying to break the bank. I got 4 kids. Help a brother out with your recommendations!

Budget is whatever the wife allows after I get suggestions lol. But nothing super crazy.

Hello all! My wife and I think it’s time to get my son a gaming PC. We would ultimately like something he can upgrade and whatnot down the road. I built one myself years ago, but with how the market is and how all these newer graphic cards are out, I just get lost in which to go with. Looking for some help to build a budget Rig.

New build or upgrade?: New build

PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games): 

For the time being, it will be gaming. But eventually im sure he would love to get into editing videos/content creation. He plays fortnite, roblox, anime games. Im hoping he can dabble in other games!

Purchase country?: United States, Near Micro Center?: we currently are not. We would like to ideally get this for him by the end of the month. However, we are moving end of June and will be alot closer to a micro center

Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate): No

Budget range? (Include tax considerations): $1000

WiFi or wired connection?: Wired

Size/noise constraints?: N/A. Although prefer my fan not to sound like an airplane.

Color/lighting preferences?: Not super important, but will admit I do enjoy a good aesthetic. I'd rather the budget go into performance.

Any other specific needs? Just want something we can upgrade down the road as time passes and technology improves!
