Hi,

I got a quote from Home Depot for ~$12k approximately half for labor and half for materials. Is this reasonable? I also found someone on Facebook marketplace willing to do the same for about $3.5k minus the materials. Granted HD is probably charging for haul away, new baseboards. Contractor I found is only doing prep & demo and I’ll have to haul away the old carpet. I’m looking to get another quote from maybe Lowe’s and a local remodel to compare prices but just wanted to see what you guys experience has been. TIA!
