I am as new as it gets. Never read a comic, and I have been thinking of getting into comic books. I do read novels, philosophy, etc., but never comics. I have only heard about Invincible (I watched the show) and Saga, which seem like things I would like, but what else can I read? Keep in mind, I know nothing about DC or Marvel and never watched any of the movies, and I only know the names of the superheroes, hence why I am intimidated to read any Marvel or DC comics since they have been running for so long, and I always like to start from the beginning. What I like about Invincible is that I didn't need any prior knowledge, and the story is already complete, so I don't have to wait for issues and can get the compendiums and read the full story. Also, another problem is that there is no comic store where I live, so I will have to either buy volumes online, which gets expensive, or buy compendia. It's better if the series is already done and has enough issues. Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance
