Does being able to pay full fees help in getting admission at LUMS, or is admission completely merit-based?

As a pre-med student from Pakistan, I wanted to ask how difficult it is to get into MSc Psychology programs in the UK, USA, or Canada, especially if someone plans to become a clinical psychologist later.

How competitive is the admission process? What GPA/profile is usually needed? Are scholarships common for international students? And how difficult is it to get into a doctorate program like PsyD/ClinPsy after MSc?

I’d really appreciate honest guidance from people studying psychology abroad or planning the same path.
