Tipping in general is for “service” right? So if I get in my uber and the driver ignores me saying hello or “for ___?” I generally don’t tip. It’s not like I actually like to chat during the ride, I’m usually trying to get some shut eye in silence, but I do feel like not answering or greeting is downright rude.

That being said, do drivers like this still expect a tip?
