Dear guys i have a 2013 Toyota corolla 1.6L automatic transmission, from few years my heat gauge is reporting oddly as whenever my car moves continuously the gauge falls dead, but as I'm stuck in traffic it rises back to mid level, some of my friends said that this is an issue with something and don't ignore it get it fixed asap, i have asked chat gpt about this issue and found out that the thermostat might be stuck open, and also i have noticed that my fuel economy has slightly lowered. Also i never received any check engine light as well
Still i need to seek advice what might be the exact issue, i bought this car from my cousin and he said he also have ever noticed this issue, what if i replace the thermostat, can i ignore this issue for long term as my engine temperature fluctuates frequently from high to low
Please i need a serious advice
