How can I join pwc in AI/Data Science with 6 months of startup internship experience?
Hi everyone,
I'm a full-stack developer with experience in:
· Backend: Python (Django, FastAPI)
· Frontend: React
· ML: Worked on a few machine learning projects (classification, regression, basic NLP)
I have 6 months of total internship experience at a startup (full-stack + some ML support).
I want to join PwC in their AI & Data Science team (or any data/analytics role).
I know PwC hires freshers, but I'm not sure if my profile is a good fit, or what exactly they look for.
My questions:
What job titles should I target at PwC (e.g., Associate Data Scientist, Data Analytics Associate, Gen AI Engineer)?
What skills should I add/improve to be competitive?
How important are certifications (like PwC's own Data Analyst course)?
What does the interview process look like (assessments, case studies, technical rounds)?
Can my 6 months of internship count as "experience", or will I be treated as a fresher?
I'm based in India (if that matters for location-specific advice).
Any tips from people who've joined PwC or similar firms would be super helpful.
