Salary negotiation for Senior Associate Azure DevOps Engineers Advisory Kolkata.

Hi Folks,

I’m currently in discussions with PwC India for a Senior Associate – Azure DevOps Engineer (Digital Integration Advisory, Kolkata) role and wanted some guidance on compensation expectations.

I have 3.2 years of experience in DevOps, primarily working with startups in the cybersecurity and fintech space. My previous CTC was 7.5 LPA, and I currently hold offers in the range of 13.5–16 LPA from startups.

I’m trying to evaluate:

  • What would be a reasonable salary range to ask for at PwC India for this role?
  • Whether it makes sense to choose PwC over these startup offers, considering compensation, growth, and long-term career value.

Would really appreciate insights from anyone with experience in similar roles or with PwC.

Thanks in advance!

PwC Offer Received ✅ – Need Honest Insights Before Decision

Hi everyone,

I recently received an offer from PwC India (Risk Consulting – Data Privacy aligned role) at Senior Associate level.

Before making a decision, I wanted to get some realistic insights from people who have worked in PwC or similar Big 4 consulting roles:

How realistic is the variable pay (up to 30%) — what do people usually get?

How is the work in Risk Consulting / Data Privacy — more compliance-heavy or actual consulting exposure?

Work-life balance and typical working hours?

Learning curve and growth in the first 1–2 years?

Any major red flags I should be aware of before joining?

Not looking for generic advice — would really appreciate honest, experience-based inputs.

Thanks in advance!

Hi I recently got place at pwc through college placement in the month of March. I didn't receive any further mail from the company.

Any idea when on-boarding starts for students who got placed through campus?

Got offer from PwC (Gurgaon) but interviewing with another PwC team – what should I do?

Hi everyone,

Need some advice on a slightly tricky situation.

I recently received an offer from PwC India for a Senior Associate role (Gurgaon location). Initially, the discussion was for Mumbai, but it got aligned to Gurgaon during HR discussions.

At the same time, I was already in process with another team within PwC (different manager and HR), and I have my L2 round scheduled for that role. This second role was originally more aligned with my preferred location and interests.

Now I’m confused about how to handle this situation:

1-Should I still go ahead with the L2 interview as normal?

2-When and how should I inform them that I already have an offer from another PwC team?

3-Is it okay to leverage this internally for a better role or compensation, or can it backfire?

4- Has anyone faced a similar situation within the same company?

I don’t want to mess this up by saying something wrong or appearing dishonest.

Would really appreciate practical advice from people who’ve been in similar situations.

Thanks!

AC India | DDV Team | Manager Interview

Hi folks! I’m interviewing for a Manager role in the PWC AC India DDV team next week.

I’ve heard there are 3 rounds - the first one with a SM in India, a Director level interview, and then one with the US team. Is that correct? What kind of questions can I expect in each round? Will only the first one be a case interview? Are both second and third rounds fitment related?

I’m currently a SA in the M&A team at another Big 4 firm. What kind of questions can I expect for the step l-up from SA to M?

Also how are the DDV and Deals Strategy teams different?

Any guidance from anyone who’s gone through the DDV team process in AC India would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

PwC AC

I am a CA fresher, got job on campus at PwC AC core assurance domain. Many of my friends are suggesting me to not join it, as switching is impossible later, as Big 4 india as well as industry do not consider working here as expirence. Is it true? Has anyone switched from pwc AC later? Also, how has been your experience working at pwc ac? I am kind of a person who prefers work life balance as well, so even if I join and keep working here only, without switching, how's Growth at pwc ac? Are there any foreign going opportunities too?

New position in tech as a Senior Data Scientist in Sanctions.

Is it still worth joining in Pwc with 4 years of working experience and joining as a Sr Data Scientist in AL/ML Sanctions. How is it like working in this group and in tech? How about layoffs ? Please provide some thoughts.

SA3+ to Manager promotion

I was hired as a SA3+ at PwC India. Even though the HR pushed for manager due to salary exceeding the band structure but the hiring manager (director) wasn't comfortable since it might have caused dissonance among other team members and also it's my first time in consulting so they got special approvals.

I wanted to check how long it takes for the movement from SA3+ to Manage? The HR had mentioned it usually happens in a year.

Will be grateful if someone could share clarity on my situation.

PwC India Manager - what salary range should we expect?

For PwC India for a Manager role in the Under Advisory.

Wanted to check with people here on a few things:

  • What salary base would be reasonable for this kind of role?
  • Does PwC usually include PF in base pay, or is it separate?
  • Any idea on how much relocation bonus or joining bonus they typically give?

Would really appreciate any inputs.

Thanks!
