Similar to modern sports, could a spectator buy a souvenir of their favorite team? In a similar vein, were individual drivers ever “fan favorites”?

Help meeeeeee 😭My 7 year old recently asked HOW do moms and dads get babies. He knows what childbirth is (and periods kinda since I was a single mom) but I have no clue how to explain it. A lot of the time my problem is that I know things in very technical terms and have trouble breaking them down into child terms, especially because he is the type to ask “*why*?” for everything.
