For those worried about the faff of changing the thermo-time switch on a 924, here you go, it's not too bad at all.

Remove the downpipe (or the whole exhaust to be fair. Remove the 4 screws holding the exhaust heat shield above the front pipe.

Access is dead easy then, simply unscrew the old one and screw the new one in. No clearance issues. I just cable tied the loom to the sensor to keep wires away from the bell housing.
