Printing on holographic paper
So, I have some great new label designs for my products and I would really love to be able to make it so the linework is holo but everything else is opaque solid color.
I thought of 2 solutions:
Use vinyl cutouts and transfer everything onto holographic paper. There are some small details that make this difficult, so if I had to do it this way I’d have to rework the design.
Find a way to print/transfer the details on. I was looking into sublimation printing and wondered: is there a way to use the sublimation transfer paper to transfer the white background? Really my only issue is that my printer can’t print white and therefore if I want something to show up opaque I’ll have to use bold colors and that doesn’t fit with the design. I’d honestly rather transfer plain white onto the holo paper if I can. I have a heat press and I am willing to buy a sublimation printer if necessary (though they don’t usually have white ink either).
