Why are marine based dinosaur fossils considered dinosaur fossils despite not being reptile?
I know other non-reptile fossils from species like insects and mammals aren't considered dinosaurs. But I've seen many documentaries seen to overlook this when it comes to marine animals unless they are full on fish.
Any advice before I install these set of shelves?
I plan on installing a set of shelves (3 in total) to hold our collection of coffee mugs. I've located the studs i plan on using and have marked out their boundaries. One of them has electrical running near our through it. That stud also happens to be the thickest. The shelves will be supported evenly by 3 metal brackets. For some reason the wall bows out in the middle most stud. This leaves a thin gap on either side but not so big that it isn't noticed until up close. I will also use flat bump stops to keep the shelves from sliding and to compensate for any, very minor leveling issues. Also the screws in using are 1.5" deep which gives about 1" into the wood is the dry wall is the standard thickness.
It's there anything I am missing or should look out for?
My theory on K-2SO armor inconsistency
In R1 K2 is seen having taken many blaster bolts while guarding the archive access room for Jin and Andor. But in S2 of Andor we see KX units shrug off blaster rounds like they aren't even there.
I've seen some theories just easily blame plot holes/ armor. While others might claim purposeful design. I've got my own theory though.
Before the big showdown with KX units we see the rebel faction on Ghorman ambush and successful raid a weapons shipment for the under construction Imperial armory. This supplies the rebels with the same hardware that the stormtroopers would have had both on Ghorman and Scarif. So essentially the blasters are the same. But I believe this is false and intentionally done so.
See, with Syril's information, the Empire knew a raid was being planned but likely didn't know when. So they purposely shipped lower powered blasters. When the shipment gets hit the rebels only make away with almost defective weapons. Even if they are the same supplied to the occupying Emps the weapons themselves are effective against unshielded or even lightly armored targets, ie rebels.
The weapons on Scarif are not at lower power and in fact are probably more lethal than the ones stolen by the Ghorman faction. Thus is why they were more effective against K2 than they were on Ghorman.
Edit 1: Heert's pistol. His pistol is likely lower powered and meant to only deal with other unarmored targets, like civilians or fellow colleges. Plus you can clearly see in the episode that he is literally their for officer presence. He is far from an effective soldier. This is why he serves a better use as a meat shield.
Is there any chance that NASA would consider having a cosmonaut join one of the Artemis missions?
I know that Russia is doing bad things right now. But when it comes to space they have surprisingly been very cooperative. Would NASA consider selecting a Russian national for spot on a future Artemis mission?

What if the US has actually extended a seat to the USSR on one of the Apollo missions?
I remember hearing that there was talks about offering a seat on one of the Apollo missions (obviously not the first successful landing one). It was ultimately turned down by the President. But what if they had actually done so. It would have been an interesting show of cooperation between two competing global powers.
Only reason I have the apex TJ version is because Slaughterspine comes with lasers standard. But seriously, who'd win this fight?
This scene from Total Recall (1990). The irony is the same lack of logic in firing in same direction as teammates works a few scenes away from this one.
I hear a lot of l about feudal japan medieval Europe. But rarely i hear about what the rest of Asia was like during this time period. Any cars to give a glimpse?
Here you have a people so utterly hated by the Romans that they went through great expense to not only raze the capital but to literally erase the hill that it stood on.
Like imagine if something like that happened to a modern capital today? It would be like destroy manhattan island then sinking it into the sea.
Was thinking about cutting this bush down to the ground leaving only the growing portions standing. But then I realized if I placed a birdfeeder near center of the bush that it may provide a sense of protection and allow others to rest nearby while waiting their turn.
I am to sign a coworkers birthday card. I recently discovered she is a huge SG nerd. I want to write a SG1 quote befitting a birthday that she'll likely only get.
