7 years to get together
7 meetings in 7 years, 7,000 km apart. We recently realized how lucky we’ve been - right time, right place.
We met on a question-and-answer site… the kind where you go to fix one problem and accidentally read about space, psychology, and why cats hate water.
Here’s our story:
Somewhere between those endless messages - the ones we couldn’t wait to read and reply to - it became more.
In 2017, without even seeing each other’s faces, we asked each other out. Broke students. No plan. No idea how to make it work… but we said yes anyway.
After juggling student jobs, we finally met in 2018. That first hug? It just felt right. Talking, holding hands, imagining a future together - it all felt natural.
From that moment on, we started working toward one goal: closing the distance for good, and on May 23, 2025, we finally got married. Against all odds, time, distance, money, differences, we managed to write our happy beginning.
This year we got lucky enough to have made it into the prettiest couples of 2025 in our local newspaper. If you wish to vote, please vote for your favorite picture.
