I work at a restaurant and idk why we haven’t been able to figure this out yet:

We have two pools in a day (brunch 11-4, dinner 4-11)

We assume that if you’re a brunch server and start a check before 4, the tip will go into brunch pool even if you close it out after 4

Now if you’re a brunch server and transfer a check started before 4 to a dinner server will that stay in brunch pool or go into dinner pool?
