Hello all. First time here. I live in VA, and the powers that be have decided to implement an “assault weapons” ban as well as a ban on “high capacity” magazines. Anything owned before July is grandfathered.

I have a massive AR collection but own no comblock stuff at all. I’d like to get a solid Krink.

What would you recommend I look at? I’d like to be able to purchase it now so I have time to SBR it before the deadline, as doing so afterwards would constitute “making” an “assault weapon,” which is banned.

I’d appreciate a reasonably priced recommendation (under $1500) and then a legit Russian Krink option too.

My 2012 SR5 glove compartment lock stopped working out of nowhere. It’s a great design, as you can lock it with the main key and the valet key won’t open it.

I went to the dealer and they claimed I would have to purchase an entire new glove compartment assembly (whatever that means) for $350 in parts alone and then have it swapped out and rekeyed.

There has to be an easier, less expensive way.

Has anyone else dealt with this?
