For Finance is it hard to get into your classes if youre not in honors?

Hi! I am an out of state student planning to major in finance, deciding if I should go to PSU next year or not.

I heard most people share dorms with 3+ people which sounds like it makes it really hard to focus or study or even store things, is it really a negative like it sounds like?

How's the campus culture? Like I know some schools have really competitive students who aren't supportive/collaborative, is it like that at PSU (specifically at Smeal?)

How easy is it to get support also? And are advisors helpful?

Are there any professors I should look out for for Finance?
