Hello🌸
Happy Mother's Day to every woman here, especially the ones for whom today is complicated.🌸
I see you. I am you.
I married at 40 believing that because I had taken care of myself, because I had waited, because I had done everything right, pregnancy would come easily.
It didn't.
I was diagnosed with fibroids. Something I had likely carried since my twenties, undiagnosed, while doctor after doctor handed me birth control and sent me home.
Mother's Day hits differently when your womb feels like it's working against you. When you've been dismissed and misdiagnosed. When you're watching everyone around you celebrate while you're still waiting, still fighting, still hoping.
I just want to say to every woman in this community today , your pain is real. Your journey is valid. And your womb is not broken.
My experience is what drove me to build Her Womb Garden, a holistic wellness app for women navigating fibroids, PCOS, infertility and reproductive health. Especially women of color who have been overlooked for too long.
I'm not here to sell anything today. I'm here because I know how lonely this day can feel.
If you want to check out the app it's free on Google Play, search Her Womb Garden. But more than that I just want you to know you are not alone today. 🌿
How are you all holding up today? 🤎
