New 3DS LL won't turn on
TLDR- My modded new 3DS LL that used to work, will not turn on after I replaced the top screen and attempted to reshell. Please read ahead
Long story- I got a N3DS LL from Japan because they are cheaper than XLs. I successfully modded with CFW (followed hacks) and was able to use it with english games. The shell and the top screen were a little rough, so I decided to reshell and swap out the top screen. I took my DS apart back in February when I first got the screen and shell in from overseas. The DS has stayed taken apart since then because I kept having issues with the fitment of either the shells or the screens. I also had to keep waiting for parts to come in only for them not to fit. I finally gave up last night and decided to just stick with the original shell.
I put the DS back together following a detailed guide on youtube. Since putting it back together it will not turn on completely. When I press the power button, the blue power light will come on for about 8 seconds and then quickly shut off. No audible “pop” and no lighting up on the screen. If I take the memory card out of the DS however, the screens will briefly flick on and off for less than a second.
I have not messed with the memory card since taking it apart, so I’m not sure what could have happened. I still have the boot.firm file on my root, and I have also tried taking it off and putting it back on. I have also tried putting the arm9loaderhax.bin file on my root to no avail.
I have taken it apart 3 times and reseated all my cables so I don’t think that’s it. The way it is acting weird when the memory card is being removed makes me think it’s a software issues, but idk how or why that would have happened.
I have the orignal nan files incase it was ever bricked, but idk how to use them. any advice is appreciated
