YouTube is Blurring the Line Between Narcissism and Nonsense

When I was trying to get out of a narcissistic relationship, certain YouTube channels blurred the line between real narcissistic abuse and unrelated behavior. It made everything confusing and slowed me down in recognizing what was actually happening.

The YouTube channel Narcdaily for example keeps pumping out low quality content by mixing some real narcissistic behavior with random behavior from his ex that have nothing to do with narcissism at all. It muddies the waters, spreads misinformation and makes it harder to recognize actual patterns. When I started to have questions, he banned me and the next day he uploaded a video where he also called out "narcissists" emailing him by mocking them for 20 seconds or so.

That channel even calls people that dont feel like talking all the time during a car trip: toxic narcissists. This really hurts because it was the narcissist in my life who even abused me for being an introvert, not allowing me to be myself.

Stay very cautious when using YouTube as a source, many channels blur the line between valid insights and outright nonsense, making it harder to tell what’s real.

11 months out of “voluntary” psychiatric treatment for (C)PTSD

I was naive for trusting the mental health system and opening up to people that are trained in faking empathy and manipulation. I took almost all their pills because they promised relief from PTSD/depression, but I got destruction from them instead. I believed almost all their lies. I drank the psychiatrists’ Kool Aid like a lab rat at an open bar.

It was 5 years of relentless destruction of my health, my self esteem and my personality. I will never forgive what they did to me or how they prey on people’s naivety.

I was so naive that I even invited them into my home from time to time for a “nice” chat, because I truly thought they were good people.

To me, psychiatry was narcissistic and chemical abuse. I hope the posts I’ve written on here to release some of that pain and anger helps others think twice before walking into those offices. When you are at your most vulnerable, that is when they strike: betrayal, manipulation and health destroying drugs sold as the cure.

Psychiatrists are worse than many people could imagine, they are tricksters that will lie above and beyond to play with your mind, gain control and chemically handcuff you just for being traumatized, depressed or anxious. Just for being stupid enough for walking into their web of manipulation🕷️🕸️

I came out alive, and so will you.
