What happened to the social skills training experiment?

A few months ago, I think it was, Dr. K talked about doing a social skills training experiment. Like people would sign up and they'd practice basic socialization skills together, probably over zoom or something. What happened to that? Was it a success? I haven't heard more about it since.

Watched the latest video on relationships and projection. And it got me thinking... about so many things...

Like...

When someone is a fan of a celebrity — is that because they project onto them the aspects of themselves they can't nurture or accept in their own life?

When an ultra masculine and an ultra feminine person get together — is that because they project their "opposites" onto each other? The masculine person doesn't like, or is unfamiliar, with their own femininity — and vice versa?

When a racist hates someone of a different ethnicity — is it because whatever that ethnicity is associated with behaving like (to the racist!!), converges with the aspects of themselves they don't like — and is therefore projected onto the ethnicity?

When a sociopath takes advantage of others' vulnerabilities — is that because they hate their own vulnerability? (consciously or not)

When a >!pdf file!< is attracted to >!kids!< — is that because they hate their own >!childishness!<? (consciously or not)

And if all of these negative ones could be true — does that mean we can potentially 'cure' racists, sociopaths, and >!pdf files!< — by helping them accept those aspects of themselves they're projecting?

And, I mean, I could go on with more examples. I just used these because they're more extreme. But, I feel like, in fact, maybe every way we're drawn to, or repelled by, others — could be a form of projection. Dr. K used narcissism as an example in the video, but I feel like this could especially apply to personality disorders in general.

Edit: I would love to be told how wrong I am, if that's the case. But if so, don't just speak in generalities — please give me some counter examples too, so I can learn.
