I bought a case from Amazon for the X9U which covered a lot of the lens for protection, just leaving cutouts for cameras and sensors.

However, when I got it I realised the case was covering the colour sensor (white dot on the lens) which meant that photos looked awful - blue tint and washed out.

Just be wary that when looking at the case from the back there needs to be a cutout in the top right corner as well otherwise you'll have to butcher the case and cut a hole through it so light can reach the sensor like I had to!
