Which Kill Team Necron is best for beginners?

I'm a new Killteam player coming directly from 40k, where I play Custodes. I hope to play Necrons someday, but to get a taste of it, I'd like to get one of the two Necron-related Killteams. I'd like it to be easy to understand and fun for me and my colleagues at the store. I really like both boxes, but I'd like to hear your opinions!

Which Kill Team would you like to see in the future?

Now that a lot of new Killteams have been released, I've been thinking about some teams I'd love to see someday, so I made this post to ask all the Killteam veterans: what team would you like to see in the future?

Ever since I first heard about this game, one team came to mind: a team of jungle fighters from Catachan, a group of veteran soldiers, incredibly tough, with heavy, destructive weapons and that "Special Forces Team in the Jungle" aesthetic—something like the commando team from the Predator movie. Strong guys with light machine guns, shotguns, knives, and tons of testosterone, maybe a rule related to their high adaptability and survivability. If they were released, I'd buy them immediately without hesitation.

Another team I'd like to see would be a group of Khorne Berzerkers. I imagine a group of veteran traitors wandering the galaxy in search of the strongest enemies of any army, a challenge that will earn them Khorne's favor, taking the skulls of incredibly strong enemies, a gladiator design with a lot of skulls and melee weapons.

I love the Imperial Fists; they're my favorite legion. Ever since I started getting into science fiction, I've always loved the concept of soldiers who defend an important position with their lives—heavy, strong soldiers who never give up, who have unwavering determination. And when I discovered Warhammer 40k, I couldn't help but see an Imperial Fist and say, "That's tough as hell!"

My little brother is only twelve and knows Warhammer 40k from me. His favorite color is yellow, and he'd also like to have Imperial Fists miniatures.

So here we are. What do you recommend I buy to get started? What's the current state of the IF lore? I can't find the Combat Patrol anywhere, but I want to defend Terra from those Iron Warriors, brothers.

We were recently at my local game store and it turns out that most people have some original characters (characters created by themselves to introduce into the 40k story). One friend has his own Tau commander who is a hero who follows the Ethereals, another has his own Chaos Lord from the Night Lords, and another has his own Blood Angels champion.

A while back, when I bought my Combat Patrol, I gave my Blade Champion a backstory. I named him Maximus, a Latin name meaning "leadership," which I thought was fitting since he leads my unit of Wardens. He was born shortly after the Unification Wars and earned the honor of being a Blade Champion by simultaneously defeating two extremely powerful Bloodthirsters in the Webway War.

Many said they didn't believe the Custodes could have OCs, and I don't believe that, so I'd like to see or hear about their characters!

(I haven't finished painting my demon slayer yet, so I'm leaving this art as a replacement)

Hi everyone, I'm new to Killteam! I recently ordered my first team, the Raveners, because I really liked their terrifying monster vibe. I feel like that aura of monstrous operatives, or the kind that would turn the scene into a horror movie, is pretty epic and immersive.

I was looking at the Shadowhunt box set and I really liked the Murderwing operatives... but I can't find them anywhere. I see people who already have them, but I can't find anything from the Shadowhunt box set anywhere.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but are they sold out? Do I have to wait until they're released individually? What do you think of this team? I see a lot of complaints about them. I'm a casual player and I'd like to learn; I don't know if it's better for me to buy this team or the Nemesis Claw one.

I'm back again seeking your advice, brothers, and this time to tell you that I'll be playing my first 1500-point game with my Custodes. I've never played them before, but I've studied their stratagems, stats, and abilities countless times. Two other newbies and I are meeting on Friday to learn the ropes. It's going to be a somewhat unusual battle, as there will be three 1500-point armies on a single table (I know it's a bit strange, but we didn't want to leave anyone out).

They'll be fielding Tau and Black Templars, two completely different enemies, so I'd appreciate any tips, warnings, or anything I should know, as I have a feeling I'm going to be the main target.

I love Tyranids, I really love their designs, their lore, their abilities. Whenever I see a Tyranid miniature, I'd love to have one. I'm new to the hobby; I started with Custodes thinking I could save up, and I have 1170 points of them, but I can't resist buying Tyranids.

I was thinking of buying the Raveners Killteam, but I also want to make the jump to a 1000-point army. So here's my question: are there any 1000-point army lists you could share to help me start? Any advice you'd like to share? I love the Tyranid Horde aesthetic, but I also like looking at Subterranean Assault lists.

I'd really like to start the army and would appreciate some help.

P.S.: I have 10 Termagants from the starter set, haha.

Hello everyone! Alpharius here with a couple of questions. I'm completely new to the hobby, so I don't have the slightest idea how to do a good kitbash or what pieces to use, but I want to build an Alpha Legion Killteam. I want to create a team with a "Headhunter" theme—special forces operatives, infiltrators who seek to destabilize and eliminate anyone who interferes with our plans. I was thinking about the Legionnaires Killteam, regardless of whether they're good or bad.

So here are my questions:

- Should I buy a Legionnaires box? I can't find the specific Killteam set anymore.

- What should I buy to customize their armor to a more Alpha Legion style?

- Do you have any examples to share? I'd love to see your examples.

Hydra Dominatus, Brothers.

I'm starting Warhammer with the Custodes. I've bought the latest Combat Patrol, a box of Witchseekers, and a box of Wardens. I was planning to make an Emperor's Lions detachment with just infantry and maybe two units of Vertus Praetors, but I really want to buy a Grav Tank because they look absolutely amazing. I fell in love with the one in the new box as soon as I saw it.

I always ask questions here and you've helped me a lot, so are Grav Tanks really super useful? Do you use them in the Lions detachment? I don't know if I should build my Lions list first and then build a Shield Host list. Help, guys!

I recently posted another question about a different team, but this one is more of a dream come true since I don't think I'll ever have the money to build a Tyranid collection. I've only played two Killteam games thanks to my friends at the local game store, who organized a "Killteam School" event. I played the first game with Phobos and the second with Nemesis Claw.

I really like the special operations feel, but it would be great to have a team of highly dangerous creatures, monsters that a team is essentially trapped with. I love the Mantifex's design and aura.

I'm thinking about buying the Typhon box set or just the Raveners box set, but I have some questions: Do I need to buy any other boxes to fully assemble this team? Which operatives do you recommend? How do you play this team, and what do you think?
