I've been roaming the inter-webs for over a decade now and still find myself backspacing more than sending actual messages.
I wonder how you guys deal with not feeling like you can speak your mind. Not that I have anything bad or gruesome to say but every time I want to message someone back I feel awkward about my first thought and end up replying "directly' or very "dry" because that seems to be safer.

I've never had a long term online friend for longer than a few months as most people just end up ghosting, ignoring,... I'm always very interested in everyone's life and always ask question to create deeper conversations but it never turn out to click or go both ways.

Heyaa, I'm looking for some Dutch speaking book buddies.
My go to genre's are Horror, Fantasy, Weird-fic, LGBT+,... but I don't mind broadening my horizons. The only books I'd rather not read are smut.

I'm mainly looking for Dutchies because I sometimes feel like I can't express myself correctly in English and some books are also hard to find in the Benelux.
