[dos/win95][1993 - 1997] old "god game" like game set in the current day.
Hi if its possible to find the name of this game it would be great!
I played this as a child. Here are the bits and pieces I remember. There might be inaccuracies.
- you controlled a street or a block surrounded by a street.
- you had workers and you had a unit which I don't know the name of but its function was that of a foreman and maybe an architect. You could not directly control your units.
- You designated buildings to be built in your controlled area. The "foreman" would head to the designated site along with available workers and they would build the building over some period of time. A foreman could build a building by himself but it would take very long, the more workers that assisted the faster the construction went.
- One of the building types you could build was a house. (I cant remember the other types or if there was even other types). When the house was complete a family could move in. The family would raise children and children would eventually become workers. I believe there was a way to promote workers to foremen as well but it's a little fuzzy.
- the map would contain other computer controlled players that like you also controlled a street or block and they would also build up and would eventually attack you with their workers/foremen and possibly other unit types that I cant remember.
Any ideas? Thanks!
