New router, speeds down to 9mbps
Old router stopped working (Netgear N300 WNR2000) so I got a new one (Archer AX12). I've set it up, updated firmware to the latest version but I still get only 9mbps download.
When I connect my PC with the same exact cable directly into the ethernet wall socket instead of the LAN port on the router I get the "normal" speed I had previously back so the issue is not the cable or the throughput from the wall, the other cable from the LAN port to my PC also had much faster speed before so it's not that cable either. (tried another cable just in case but no change)
I get the same exact download results when I run a fast.com test on my phone as on my PC.
I've already tried reseting the router, turning it off for a few minutes before turning it back on as well.
I changed it from "auto negotiation" to 100Mbps Full Duplex but no changes from that either. I also tried different LAN ports but no changes.
What could be causing it?
