Can anyone verify or correct my wiring? This is just a drawing for now, I have not done any of this yet I am still researching what I will all need. I’m not unfamiliar but have never ran more than 1 battery so I want to make sure I’m thinking correctly. All lines are 1/0 minus the 100a line from pos bus to the rp150.4ab.
After replacing the passenger mirror on a 2016 accord, with a replacement from rockauto, the lanewatch camera connection seems to be failing.
This does seem to be common amongst aftermarket mirrors from what ive researched.
However, here’s what I don’t get. The connection is seated. The power mirror function works, the blinker works, and when I go into the diagnostic menu, the camera picture even shows up in the HUD. But the connection still shows red. And I cannot start the aiming process I’m assuming because it’s saying the connection is bad. So how can the connection be bad, but I’m literally looking at picture from the camera on the hud? Has anyone figured this out? Or do I just eat the 300$ like everyone else has on it.
Edit to add: disconnected batt for 10min, no change. There is a hard error in the software Error Code 2618 LaneWatch Diag. When you look that up online you come across a troubleshooting flowchart. If nothing else, maybe I’ll try looking into that when I have time. But basically, the chart ends with it being a few options. Potentially a wiring harness, the entire audio-nav unit itself, or the camera itself.
