One day layover at Manila airport (Belmont Hotel) question

I'm landing at 4am in Manila, final destination General Santos. Instead of "stressing" I thought to collect my luggage 🧳 and check-in to Belmont hotel right outside T3.

Get some rest/lunch, but I have to also work full straight 8h that day (if I go with this plan). Then dinner early sleep and the day after early morning flight to Gensan.

Doable/recommended instead of waiting 4-6 hrs layover for the next flight etc?

Lastly, would I be able to get solid consistent WiFi at the hotel or I believe there should be a Starbucks nearby? Do they let you stay there several hours (1/3 of a day lol) as long as you spend?

Thanks :)

3h layover in Manila enough?

Flying HCM Manila Gensan...I have to take luggage in Manila and check in again for domestic flight. Both legs with Cebu Pacific, but 3h only...do you think is enough? 🤔

Hi everyone! I'm planning to visit for ~2 weeks at the end of May, coming from Vietnam where I'm currently based.

I want to explore (parts) of Mindanao starting from Davao, to see what it's like and maybe move there in October when the rainy season is over (I believe).

I'm not exactly sure what to see or do; I don't really have any specific needs or plans other than to explore and go with the flow.

My question is mainly about the time spent in each place.

I would like to visit Davao, General Santos, and CDO. There are also some areas in Northeast Mindanao that I think have amazing spots, like a beautiful lake and some waterfalls (I can't remember the names right now).

Then there's Samal Island, Camiguin Island, and Siargao Island.

It’s obviously too many places for one trip. Also, I would like to visit Boracay and end the trip in Cebu, as I'm heading to another SEA country afterward and it would be easier to fly out from there (I also want to see how it compares to Davao for a potential relocation).

I’m not planning on, nor am I interested in, Manila for now.

I can't really pick places or make a rough plan because I don't know the distances between locations or how to get from A to B, besides a few flights.

If you were in my shoes, how would you plan such a trip? It should NOT be rushed. I usually do not make plans besides booking the first 1–2 nights, so I just need a general plan to follow, but I won’t be strict about it!

Last but not least, it shouldn't be too rainy up to mid-June, right?

Any tips would be much appreciated! Thanks

(I found another post with amazing tips/places, which makes my planning even harder lol
