Is anyone else freaking out about this on-going contract dispute? Am I misunderstanding or will right all of their doctors and facilities be out-of-network if they don’t strike a deal?

NYCE + rider, no union. Doctor is recommending Zepbound for overweight BMI + high cholesterol. I think this qualifies for pre-auth based on what I’ve read. Has anyone gotten pre-auth this year under the new plan for those conditions? How much did the medication end up costing? If not covered by Prime Therapeutics where else are you getting the medication and are you submitting through superimposed major medical? (I’ve never used this benefit and don’t really understand it) I truly don’t understand how that works. Help! Explain it to me like I’m 5. And thank you to anyone in advance for assistance. 🙏🏻
